MBGA Looks Ahead to the Future
By Mary Rappaport, MBGA Founder
The Minority Business Growth Alliance (MBGA) was established in 2020 with the intention of helping minority entrepreneurs by providing consulting support and connections. The alliance’s volunteers started by working with seven businesses, and we have learned from them and with them over the past two years. We continue to evolve to better serve minority business owners in the Twin Cities.
MBGA has a fresh focus on how we are serving our BIPOC clients, and we are excited to share more about how we will continue to support and amplify the voices of our clients and BIPOC community.
After reflecting on the experiences of our clients and volunteers, we will focus on providing business coaching to BIPOC owners. Our vision is to build the business acumen and grow the professional networks of minority entrepreneurs so they can grow their businesses.
MBGA will work with minority business owners who are ready to grow and align them with the right business coach to help them focus on building business acumen and clarity. In addition, we will lean on our networks and make meaningful introductions for our owners and elevate the visibility of our client businesses.
